Model credits and educational-use notice
This viewer is an instructional anatomy resource. It is not a diagnostic, surgical-planning, or patient-care tool, and it does not represent every anatomical variation.
Anatomy model sources
The skeleton, skull, exploded-skull, skull-base, upper-limb, and lower-limb files are browser-oriented adaptations of models from Z-Anatomy, the libre 3D atlas of anatomy.
Z-Anatomy code and content, including these adapted model files, is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. Preserve this attribution and the same license when redistributing the model files or adaptations of them.

Upstream anatomy data
Z-Anatomy identifies BodyParts3D as the original model base and requests the following attribution:

Changes made for this viewer
The Z-Anatomy source models were modified for web-based teaching in 2026. Changes include bilateral mirroring where source geometry supplied one side, applied transforms and repaired normals, per-object materials for selection, focused regional derivatives, an exploded-skull arrangement, Draco web compression, camera presets, and instructor-reviewed teaching annotations. The muscular-system review preview combines the source muscular collections with the completed skeleton, omits organizational helper objects, applies complete mirrored transforms, evaluates source modifiers, recalculates normals, preserves source-assigned tendon regions, and assigns separate muscle, fascia, tendon, sheath, and bursa colors. Source origin/insertion surface meshes are shown as provisional selected-structure overlays. Anatomical alignment and attachment relationships remain under review.
